Therapy
I provide therapy for multiple concerns and problems but have specialized training in PTSD and Insomnia. I have worked with people who have experienced many different traumas, including complex trauma. I feel lucky and honored to be a part of their unique journey to heal.
We’ll sort through things together in a way that feels steady, respectful, and grounded. You bring your lived experience; I bring evidence‑based care and a calm, collaborative approach. Below are some of the evidence-based treatments I provide.
Therapies for PTSD

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
CPT is a structured, evidence‑based therapy that helps people heal from trauma by understanding how traumatic experiences have shaped their beliefs about themselves, others, and the world. CPT is collaborative, practical, and empowering, helping you regain a sense of clarity, control, and possibility. To learn more about CPT, visit CPT for PTSD-National Center for PTSD

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR helps your brain process traumatic memories in a more adaptive way using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation. It supports healing without requiring detailed retelling, helping distressing memories feel less overwhelming and more resolved. To learn more about EMDR, visit EMDR for PTSD-National Center for PTSD

Prolonged Exposure (PE)
PE is a structured, evidence‑based therapy that helps you gradually face trauma‑related memories and situations that feel unsafe but are not dangerous. With support, avoidance decreases and confidence grows, allowing you to reclaim parts of your life that trauma has restricted. COPE for PTSD and substance use also available. To learn more about PE, visit PE for PTSD-National Center for PTSD

Written Exposure Therapy (WET)
WET is a brief, evidence‑based approach where you write about your traumatic experience in a guided, structured way. This process helps reduce avoidance, lessen distress, and create a clearer, more integrated narrative of what happened. To learn more about WET, visit WET for PTSD-National Center for PTSD.

Individual Therapy and Sleep Therapy

Individual Therapy
Not all struggles fit neatly into a diagnosis. Many people come to therapy because life has become overwhelming, stressful, or simply heavier than they want to carry alone. I offer supportive, evidence‑based therapy for adults.
Common concerns I help with:
• Anxiety, worry, and overthinking
• Stress related to work, caregiving, or major responsibilities
• Burnout and emotional exhaustion
• Grief and loss
• Relationship or family stress
• Life transitions (career changes, moves, new roles)
• Low mood, sadness, or feeling “stuck”
• Building boundaries and strengthening self‑worth
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
CBT-I is a short‑term, evidence‑based treatment that helps you reset your sleep patterns and rebuild a healthier relationship with rest. Instead of relying on medication, CBT‑I focuses on the thoughts, habits, and physical rhythms that keep insomnia going. It’s considered the gold‑standard treatment for chronic sleep difficulties, including trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, waking too early, or feeling unrefreshed in the morning.
